International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC)
The International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) is an annual gathering that brings together professionals from across Asia to share insights, experiences, and best practices in Quality Control Circle (QCC) activities and team-based improvement programmes. In recent years, the convention has evolved to include a broader range of presentations—covering topics such as quality innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement case studies.
The idea for ICQCC was first proposed in 1975 at the Korean Control Conference in Seoul, with the aim of creating a recurring international platform for idea exchange on QCC activities. This vision came to life in 1976, when the inaugural ICQCC was held in Seoul.
Today, ICQCC is supported by 13 member economies where each member country takes turns hosting the annual convention. SGPA represents Singapore at the Coordinating Committee Meetings (CCM) held during each ICQCC.
